   Methods of Evaluation:

There will be 5 tests during the semester for the laboratory course.  Each of the first 4 tests will be worth 100 points and the 5th test 200 points, for a total of 600 points for the semester.  I grade on a straight percentage basis (no curve).    A more complete description of the type of exams is in the syllabus.  As it takes hours of preparation to set up the practical part of your exams you cannot make up this portion of your test.  NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE WILL BE MADE.  I encourage those of you who are pre-veterinary or veterinary technology students to actively participate in either/both the Pre-Veterinary Club or RVT Club.  You should also see Mrs. White, or myself regarding internships, resumes, and class schedules.  Those students seeking letters of recommendation - please see what is required of you at the beginning of the semester (ask to see recommendation questionnaire).   Attendance will weigh heavily on your grade.  If dropping remember it is the STUDENT’S responsibility to drop a class, not the instructor.   Click for a PRINTABLE copy of this syllabus
