Thank you for visiting my web page!
A year after graduating high school in Australia, I moved to the United States to continue my education. Although I took geography classes in high school, I did not realize my true passion for the discipline until taking my first college level course. During my first semester at Pierce College I recognized geography was the career I was meant to pursue. I received my A.A. from Pierce College, and my B.A. and M.A. in Geography from California State University, Northridge.
I am currently a Professor of Geography/GIS and chair of the Anthropological and Geographical Sciences Department and 1st VP of Academic Policy. I am also the Faculty Advisor for Geography and GIS. Some of my other campus responsibilities include serving on the college's Technology Committee, Curriculum Committee, and the Career and Technical Education Committee.
Please take a minute to also visit the department website where you will find helpful information regarding the department, the program, faculty, and scholarships. Department of Anthropological and Geographical Sciences
